1. This promotion is open to vPost Singapore members who pay for standard shipments (excluding sea freight and economy shipment) created at using credit cards issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“SCBSL”), from 21st May 2018 to 20th July 2018 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).

2. Subject to the other terms as set out in these terms and conditions, if a vPost Singapore member satisfies the criteria in the clause above during the Promotion Period:

  • such vPost Singapore member is entitled to receive 20% off the charges (excluding all taxes including but not limited to any Goods and Services Tax) for vPost standard shipment (excluding sea freight and economy shipments) by entering the voucher code SCB20B or VPXSCB20 upon check out (“20% Discount”);
  • Only Spree Credit Cardholders will be eligible to participate in the lucky draw.

Unless otherwise stated, the 20% Discount cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other existing promotions or discounts.

3. The lucky draw will be conducted manually at 10 Eunos Road 8 Singapore Post Centre Singapore 408600 on 8 August at 1500hrs at Singapore General Post Office.

4. The lucky draw prizes are as follows:

5. Each vPost Singapore member is entitled to win only one prize, regardless of how many times their names may be picked through the lucky draw. In the event a vPost Singapore member’s name is picked through the lucky draw more than once, Singapore Post Limited (“SingPost”) shall be entitled to disregard the second and subsequent picked names and repick another vPost Singapore member.

6. SingPost’s decision on the winners is final and no correspondence will be entertained. SingPost’s decision at all stages of the promotion is final. No enquiries, appeals, verbal or written, shall be entertained.

7. For prize collection, winners will be notified via email at the email address registered by the vPost Singapore customer at Winners may be required to sign a written statement confirming their eligibility before prize collection.

8. SingPost reserves the right to revoke the prizes at any time if the winner does not meet any or all requirements for the contest or comply with any of these terms and conditions, even though an announcement may have been made indicating that person was the winner.

9. All prizes shall be collected at 10 Eunos Road 8 Singapore Post Centre Singapore 408600.

10. Winners must bring the email notifications sent by SingPost and their NRIC or passport (actual and photocopy) for verification.

11. If a winner is not able, for any reason, to accept the prize, or does not contact SingPost within five (5) days of our first attempt of notifying them, SingPost then reserves the right to award the prize to another vPost Singapore member.

12. Any prize left unclaimed within two (2) months of the email notification being sent out to the winner will be forfeited and dealt with in any manner as SingPost may deem appropriate. Prizes will not be sent by post unless otherwise stated.

13. The use of the prizes is subject to the terms and conditions that apply to the respective prizes (including but not limited to any expiry date).

14. The quality of the lucky draw prizes is the responsibility of the issuer of the relevant prizes. SingPost does not warrant, represent or guarantee the quality of any of the prizes or that the claims made by the issuer in respect of any of the prizes are accurate. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, SingPost disclaims all warranties (whether express or implied) including but not limited to, warranties that the prizes will meet the vPost Singapore member’s requirements or be fit for a particular purpose. SingPost shall not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred thereby.

15. Each of the prizes is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash, credit or any other prizes and/or other items in part or in whole. SingPost may at its sole discretion at any time and without prior notice replace or substitute any and all of the prizes with another prize of a similar value.


16. SingPost (including its subsidiaries and vPost) accepts no responsibility for any tax or other liability that may arise from the promotion and/or lucky draw prizes.

17. SingPost shall not be liable in any way to any customer for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or damage arising in connection with this promotion, including but not limited to any act or omission relating to the vPost Singapore member’s participation in the promotion howsoever caused.

18. SingPost may, at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice, vary, modify, delete or add to these terms and conditions (including but not limited to the conduct of the promotion and the number of winners and rewards) and may also withdraw or discontinue the promotion at any time without any notice or liability to any customer.

19. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between these terms and conditions and any brochures, marketing or promotional materials relating to the promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

20. This promotion shall be governed by Singapore law, and by participating in this promotion, the customer agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

    1. Spree Credit Card Terms and Conditions
      The Spree Credit Card (“Spree Card”) gives you cashback (“Cashback”) when you (including your supplementary cardholder(s) on your Card account) charge Eligible Retail Transactions (refer to transaction exclusions below) to the Card, in the following manner: (i) 3% cashback on Eligible Retail Transactions identified as online transactions based on codes assigned by Visa that are charged in a foreign currency that are not made via telephone or mail order (“Eligible Foreign Currency Online Transactions”); (ii) 3% cashback on Eligible Retail Transactions identified as vPost transactions (“vPost Transactions”) based on merchant descriptions “PAYPAL *VPOST” and/or “VPOST SHIPPING” and/or “VPOST SHIPPING SERVICE”; (iii) 2% cashback on Eligible Retail Transactions identified as (A) online transactions based on codes assigned by Visa that are charged in Singapore Dollars that are not made via telephone or mail order and/or (B) transactions made using Apple Pay, Google Pay™ or Samsung Pay via contactless terminals using Near Field Communication technology, and which are not Samsung Pay transactions using Magnetic Secure Transmissions and/or (C) contactless transactions (“Eligible Local Currency Online Transactions”); and/or (iv) 1% cashback on all Eligible Retail Transactions that are not Eligible Foreign Currency Online Transactions, vPost Transactions or Eligible Local Currency Online Transactions (“Other Retail Transactions”). The following transactions are not Eligible Retail Transactions and will not earn Cashback, such as any cash advance; any fees and charges (including annual fees, late payment fees, interest charges, and or finance charges) charged to your Card; any balance or fund transfer and any other charge, fee, transaction or payment as we may stipulate from time to time. The maximum Cashback awarded for any statement cycle month is capped at S$60 per Card account.     2. Credit Cards Sign-Up Promotion Terms and Conditions
      To be eligible for the Credit Cards Sign-Up Promotion (“Promotion”) available from 1 April to 30 June 2018 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”), you must (a) apply for 1 of the Eligible Cards (as defined below) issued by Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”) as a principal cardholder (“Cardholder”) during the Promotion Period; (b) be a new to Standard Chartered principal cardholder (ie do not have any existing/previously cancelled principal credit cards in the last 12 months with the Bank); and (c) activate the Eligible Card within first 30 days of card approval. Eligible cardholders who fulfil all of limbs (a) to (c) above will receive up to S$100 cashback (“New CC Cashback”) for the Eligible Card approved under this Promotion; subject to the Current and Previous Cashback Cap as defined in the full terms and conditions for this Promotion). For the avoidance of doubt, this Previous Cashback Cap may be lesser or greater than the Current Cashback Cap of $120. To qualify and receive the S$20 cashback (“Wallets Cashback”), you must: (i) satisfy all the eligibility criteria set out in (a) and (c) above, (ii) register the Eligible Card with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay™ (“Enrolled Card”), (iii) charge at least five (5) Qualifying Transactions through Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay (singularly “Mobile Wallet”, collectively “Mobile Wallets”) to the Enrolled Card by 31 July 2018. For the avoidance of doubt, Qualifying Transactions through Google Pay comprise Qualifying Transactions that are made via an Eligible Card that was added and verified, creating a Virtual Account Number, in the Google Pay mobile application; and (iv) not have, at any time before the start of the Promotion Period, performed any transaction through any Mobile Wallet on any Standard Chartered credit card. Each Eligible Cardholder can only receive the Wallets Cashback once. If you are eligible to receive the Wallets Cashback, it will be credited to the Enrolled Card’s card account by 31 August 2018. “Qualifying Transactions” are retail transactions that exclude certain transactions including but not limited to insurance premiums, bill payments and payment via AXS network, which are charged to an Enrolled Card through any Mobile Wallet.
